Know Exactly What to Expect, Step by Step
Getting Started at Complete Dental Care
what it feels like when you get here
If you’re a dog person, you may meet Remy or Milo before anyone else. They’re our comfort dogs, and they take their welcoming responsibilities seriously.
After check-in, we’ll start with a conversation. We want to understand what brought you in, what’s been on your mind, and what you’re hoping to figure out.
Jennifer, our treatment coordinator, often says that maybe today is just about learning. No pressure. No hard close. Just a conversation to help you decide what feels right.
For Routine and General Dental Visits
If you’re coming in for a checkup or cleaning, your visit will be straightforward. We may take digital images or X-rays, complete a gentle cleaning, and have Dr. Bean review everything with you.
If everything looks good, we’ll help you stay on track. If something needs attention, we’ll explain what we see, walk through your options, and answer your questions clearly
Most routine first visits take about 45 minutes to an hour.
If You've Been Putting It Off...
A lot of patients think about calling for a long time before they finally do.
Maybe it’s been hard to eat comfortably. Maybe you’ve stopped smiling in photos. Maybe you just want to feel like yourself again.
Whatever brought you here, your first visit is designed to help answer one question: what is actually possible?
for full arch, teeth in a day, or implant consultations
Your first visit looks different from a standard checkup. We’ll take detailed 3D scans so Dr. Bean can evaluate your jawbone, sinuses, and surrounding structures before recommending anything.
We’ll talk about your goals, what you’ve been through, and which options make sense for your situation. If you’ve had consultations elsewhere, that’s completely fine. We’re happy to offer another perspective.
If you’re curious about the digital process, Jennifer can also walk you through the lab, where we design and print teeth in-house.
The Questions Everyone Asks
You probably have some version of these questions in mind:
Will it hurt? Dr. Bean’s approach is designed to minimize trauma whenever possible. Many patients are surprised by how little soreness they feel afterward.
How long does it take? For full arch cases, surgery and new teeth happen in a single day. Your final design is typically completed within a few months.
What does it cost? Full arch work is a significant investment, and we’ll talk about it honestly. Jennifer will walk you through cost, financing, and available payment options.
What if I’ve been told I’m not a candidate? Bring us what you’ve been told. We see complex cases often and will help you understand what may or may not be possible.
how to prepare
Technology matters when it improves the experience for you.
Bring your insurance card if you have one, a list of medications, and any recent X-rays or records from another office if they’re available. If you do not have those things, do not let that stop you from coming in.
If you’re nervous, tell us. You won’t be the first, and we’ll adjust what we can to make the visit feel more comfortable.
ready to schedule?
You can complete your New Patient Paperwork ahead of time to save a few minutes, or arrive a little early and we’ll walk you through it.
Whether you’re coming in for a cleaning or you’ve been carrying this decision around for years, the hardest part is making the call. After that, we’ll take it from there.
