Technology

Our Technology Promotes Patient Health

At Complete Dental Care, we take technology seriously. We’re constantly investigating the latest technologies and techniques so that we can provide you with the best possible care.  Dr. Jackson Bean, DDS invest in cutting-edge technology to give you more options for improving oral health.

3D Imaging

What’s going on with your teeth? How can we create appliances and prosthetics that are uniquely suited to your mouth? Our office uses 3D digital imaging to get an accurate view of your teeth and mouth. This process is both faster and more accurate than taking messy molds and impressions. We can show you what we’ve found and use these detailed images to help you understand your treatment options.

Air Abrasion

Air abrasion is a new way for your dentist to remove decay and perform other procedures without the use of a drill. Air abrasion uses a fine stream of particles like a sandblaster to remove decay in a way that is more conservative in nature, and causes much less anxiety for patients than a drill.

Carifree®

Dental caries, or cavities, are caused by bacteria in the mouth. If you’re prone to cavities even though you brush and floss, your mouth may be colonized with harmful bacteria. The Carifree® system allows us to treat the bacterial infections that destroy your teeth. Let us help you prevent cavities and improve your oral health with Carifree® products.

Digital X-rays

Digital x-rays are more accurate than traditional, film-based x-rays. There’s no wait to develop them, so you can get your results at your regular appointment in a matter of moments. Best of all, digital x-ray machines use a fraction of the radiation that the film-based machines did. That means that they’re safer for you.

Intraoral Camera

We want you to understand what we’re doing and why we do it so that you can make informed choices about your oral health. Our intraoral camera system lets us quickly see what is happening in your mouth, and allows us to share those images with you so you can take a more active role in your oral health.

Laser Cavity Detection

Similar to the intraoral camera and oral cancer screening device, the only way for us to detect decay in the past was through sight. Today, with Diagnodent® laser cavity detection, we use a low level laser light to illuminate areas of decay before they might become visible to the naked eye. This allows us to detect and treat decay sooner, before it progresses.

Diode Laser Treatments

Our diode lasers eliminate the need for scalpels and cutting in many minor soft-tissue procedures. Laser ablation of tissue is faster, less painful, and less complicated than traditional dental surgery. You’ll need less preparation before surgery and recover more quickly. Many of our patients are impressed by how fast and easy diode laser surgery is.

CEREC® Milling

Our CEREC® system allows us to design, create, and fit custom crowns at a single appointment. Instead of dealing with temporary crowns and limited diets, you can return to your normal habits as soon as you leave the office. CEREC® technology also gives you the opportunity to help design the crowns.

Oral Cancer Screening Device

Oral cancer screenings are one of the most important services we provide for our patients. Our ViziLite® Plus screening device uses fluorescent light to illuminate abnormalities on the soft tissues inside the mouth, to help us detect oral cancer sooner for a better chance of treatment and recovery.

Painless Injections

Let’s face it, nobody likes getting shots. That’s why we’ve invested and received advanced training in painless injections, to make sure your experience is as comfortable as possible.

CT Machine

Dental computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray machine used in cases where regular x-rays are insufficient. CT scans generate 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone with a single scan. Our Green CT scanner provides an ultra low x-ray dose for safe exposure and helps us provide more accurate diagnosis and more precise treatment planning.
